Howzit
Just joined the forum. Ya also looking to ride. i know a few good routes but they are all out of town. I am in the formitive planning stage for a trip to Mozambique later this year. I might chicken out on the road work to the north and go on the train to gauteng or trailer it up. been riding for 30 years now and its just not the same as it was back then.

Cheers Guy

Hi Stevh

Yes, I'm from CT too buddy.  Still a bit new to the whole adventure riding thing, as I've only had my KLR for about a year & a half now, since my sportbike days.  This is a great deal more fun and relaxing though.  I'm cruizin'
I live in Kleinbosch in Welgelegen area, close to Parow (Northern suburbs).  You??

Hey there guys

Been on the forum just a few days now and had my KLR for just over a month now. Been biking in one form or another since I was sixteen. Started on a Suzuki PE 175, went through a few two and four stroke road bikes, but always seem to return to offroad/MX bikes. Sold my KDX 220 to buy the KLR. The KDX was seriously good fun, will have to buy another at some stage.

My '89 KLR650 A3 is my first adventure bike and I am looking forward to finally seeing all the places I have always dreamed of going too.

I am based in Somerset West about 80km from Cape Town.

Will stick my pin on the map and hope to meet up with you guys on the roads less travelled sometime. Ride on! I'm cruizin'

Cheers
