Yep, me too.... But I didn't want to get on there anyway, so there Greenie .

I think it is blocking of a wide range of IP addresses and we are in it too. I can get in using the wireless dongle or hooking up to the net through the iPhone, but from the home modem I'm forbidden poke  Hmmmmm...

Nup not me personally.I recon that my long term involvement and attempts to keep the site of some interest to the Aussie great unwashed, plus being a mod(with no scooter )and half hearted organiser of the KLRRR should be enough to stop me being bloody "Forbidden" But it aint  laugh
BUT-------  aha! ahh!
IF ,by some strange flicker of fate,I happened to have my very own web site, with just a slight possibility of making a few coins,I'm fairly sure that I would try my best not to piss off the prospective source of the fore mentioned $ by having them struck down with the forbidding forbidden axe.   That's funny !

There are actual software mods available that are designed to hassle members at the Admin's discretion.

That is what is being done to you & others.

That kind of crap doesn't fly here.

Hondo,

Could you elaborate on this?  Do you mean the forum software actually has a feature to hassle members? In what way?

Just curious...

Yes, those type of modifications are available for the management of a forum to actually hassle members.

I would never dream of using something like that, then again, I'd rather deal with problem members directly (and discretely) and with respect.

Ok, if you are getting forbidden messages from that forum, then it is either-

1 - a technical issue with that server or forum software installation
2 - an intentional action being directed at specific members by the Administrator(s).

Either way, that is is an issue between those having the issues and THAT forum's management.

You are welcome to use this forum without restriction or intentional harassment as a reliable alternative.

And as we don't want to encourage strife between forums, this is now closed.
