The only answer to a stove is the BRUNTON. Folds down into a 1" x 1. 1/2" x 3" square case, Burns like a jet engine.

The only destination is self discovery

I've got both the MSR whisper lite and a trangia alcohol stove. I like both, for the uber lite trips the trangia can't be beat, heats reasonably well. I do have a coleman 502 that I sometimes use but it takes up some space but does work well

I always take my 180 STOVE on my bike when I am camping. It works great, has a large cook surface and I don't have to deal with lugging fuel around. They ship it in a plastic pouch that is used to put the stove back into when cooled down. It keeps my stuff clean and the stove folds up nice and small so it doesn't take much room. Check it out. I love it. You won't be disappointed.  thumb

I have two MSR stoves, both small and lite and easily packed up. The WhisperLite and the Butterfly.

The last one burns any kind of fuel you put into it. That is my go-to travel stove.

Hey Guys   ---Rebar here in Friendswood Texas--A KLR forum and NOBODY uses a simple HOBO stove made from a tin can and a coathanger??? Whats up with that.  Fuel is every where and its hard to beat a throw away stove.  Beg a can from any cafe and attack it with a " church key" and you are ready to cook.   I also have a Coleman Dual Fuel but it dont have the KLR character.   Ride safe   James
