new shipping destination{s}at the USA border for Canadians!"follow-up"

HI Folks
In the past Canadians had to ship USA to Canada bound parcels to a USA "friend"   so that they could be retrieved and brought home..
After being totally frustrated  with so many USA suppliers that will not ship to Canada or want a body appendage for international shipping costs ...there is a new system i just learned of yesterday. ...It's called Kinek. It seems as simple as driving across the border to your waiting parcel or crate...

Check out the site...  I have sent a email to motorcycle superstore to see what the experience was like on their end.. and will update this post when i hear back. {I am curious about a shipped item that is received at Kinek point damaged..then what?}

Oh... and if any forum members have used this system already please add your experience to this post.

Follow up to the USA border shipping destination/post on July 25th.

This is the question i asked Motor cycle super store:
Have you had good results using the kinek as shipping destination? What would happen if the part you sent was damaged when received/ picked up at the kinek site?
Answer:

Bill,
You are welcome to use any shipping address that you like.  If you received damaged items, then we provide a shipping label to send them back to us to be refunded.  However, if your original shipping address is in the US, the return label will only work for an address within the US.  So you will want to check every single package received while you’re still in the states in case we need to take care of any issues.  Once the order is taken over the border into Canada, and you have an issue, you’ll have to bring it back to the states to send it back if you want to use one of our labels.  You’re welcome to send it back on your own from Canada.
