Canadian bike insurance quotes i got for a 650 KLR.. what is yours?

Well as y'all know  BC (as in Brit Columbia) stands for Bring Cash!!

Here there is a Provincial Insurance provider, Insurance Corp. Brit. Columbia (ICBC). It is mandatory have PL PD insurance with ICBC, the minimum you can get is a basic PL PD policy, of $200000.00 limit. There is options to insure for any number of months (1 to 12) and they also offer collision,comp,spec. perils etc. which may be purchased thro' other insurance companies in BC. So cover my '04 KLR with the cheapest available basic mandatory insurance for six months is $469.00. Bare bones.

And I will do nearly anything to avoid destroying that semi trailer full of Bentleys, cause $200k will fall short on that account.

For comparison, last year I did the six months plan, but had $1000000.00 PL PD, plus $500.00 deductable comprehensive, that cost me $1104.00

My '05 Honda VFR800 will set me back $735.00 for the basic six month plan laid out the same as for the KLR this year.

I just want to ride thro' the effen mountains here  I didn't want to buy them!!
