Bonjour, Newby here. I live in sw Quebec just north of Ottawa-Gatineau. I don't own a KLR yet but am actively looking for a good used mount. I used to own a Honda XL350R for about ten years and enjoyed the heck out of it! Happy! I found this site while surfing for info. Looks like a cool site and looking forward to start getting involved.

Yes, fly fishing. Actually, I'm a trout nut. I intend to use the KLR I will be getting in the next few weeks to  get to some of my fishing spots.

Good way to uses a KLR,we'll do the same on last week-end of May. Are you interested???I got something going on with friends for a while,you can read it( in french),it may be interesting to know that we will probably be 14 of us getting our camping and fishing stuff for a 4-day week-end.We're all going to get motorcycles up there .Fishing early and late while mid-day will be on motorcycles. http://motoaventurequebec.xooit.com/t4110-sortie-moto-peche-ete-2009.htm

Hello all,

Get my 2008 KLR650 Sunday.  Bought used and can't wait.

Live in Wasaga Beach and hope to see some of you in the area.

Wife starting with an XT225 this year and hoping to link up and do intros with short trips, maybe tag alongs for segments around the bay.  Blue mountain area of bay through Meaford to Owen sound is a nice portion.

Anyway take care all look forward to meeting some of you!

 Welcome markis40!

Being your new ride is an 08 make sure to do a once over on the recalls to see if they have been done. Muffler bolts, wiring harness chaff points and keep track of your oil level.  Also the KACR recall for cold starting  may give you fits as far north as you are if it's not been looked at and corrected if needed.
