Some of us have been kicking the idea around as part of another thread and it appears now is the time to set it up as it's own entity.

Basically thinking about meeting up in a convenient location and jumping on the Raid Ridaventure route for a day or two. I've been to Lac-Megantic a couple times now but I could see also starting around Sherbrooke or Saint-Georges. Length of ride and direction are quite open for me at this point. As part of the trip I'd like to spend a night around the Lennoxville area. I've done alot of backpacking over the years, paid my dues winter camping in the High Peaks of the Adirondacks, and finally learned I prefer a nice comfy B&B with a Five Star breakfast Awesome.

I have not ridden this route before and have very limited French ( I do always manage to get food and beer ).

Time Frame: End of summer, early fall.

Let's talk about it.

Please, forget the idea of that ride on the Labor Day Weekend...
And I'll be there for sure.
Can help for reservation and setting up a route.I've already got 2 loops designed(and tested) for that region,I can provide many more.
And ,I can translate... That's funny !
Set a time and I'll talk to a few guys around here,we sure can set something interesting.

What !!! take the adventure out puzzled
1 idea for me- meet riders Sat night or early Sun.morning between Megentic and ST George, ride east Sunday return on alt track Monday.  That gives me a leisurly ride up and Blues an easy ride east on Sat.

The part of Touche's route I have questions on is from Eatonville thru Lapointe Station to Pelletier.  The Quebec Atlas shows a dotted line labeled "Parc lineaire Monk".  Touche's map on RidAdventue shows this part in red so it should not be an ATV trail.  Maybe we could camp in ZEC Chapais and do a return trip from there

update- curvemadd3- what does this link say? Hmmmmm...

Roughly,...
That this trail is 226km(±120 miles) long and Snowmobiles,ATV and cycling can use it.Some spots are limited to specific users..The longuest in Quebec and the second one in Canada. The last sentence is to be verified because it's says that the access on the trail is limited to ATV and no other motorised vehicles... Hmmmmm...
Must talk to Touche about that one.
I'll be back Sunday night,I'm off to Mégantic.
