Although it is the Great White North we usually get a month of two of 25-30 degrees C weather so its pleasant enough. I've heard if you walk far enough down the beach you will find those PI heaters......In reality though... its warm enough in the summer and quite a unique place. On a typical summer day there are well over a thousand people down there. The bad thing however is you can't get your KLR down there to burn donuts in the sand!

I guess technically its a "clothing optional" beach. Best place to hang out in the summer. All you need is a beach mat and $20. All kinds of food from Venison Burgers to tofu dogs to guys and gals walking around wearing nothing but a belt with 10 bottles clipped on. Margaritas, Pinia Coladas Manhatan..you name it. Ice cold Beer in 50 different flavours and many other treats. But i wouldn't suggest anyone go down for the sites..... Clothing hides a lot. Great thing is that the place is missing the 6-20 trouble making crowd...super layed back down there.

Isn't it kinda cold up there, even in the Summer?  Dedicated to the cause I guess, or do they have heated thongs?

Willys.....apparently I was a bad boy...me and another member.  Drank the Kool-Aid for far too long.  Apparently there are certain individuals there that don't like to be proven wrong with Canadian common sence.  Easier to ban someone than just admit that we may have a point.  It ws a good site with great people, just too many politics.

Anyhow time to move on.....love the layout here much better.  Looking forward to sharing and receiving.

I'll extend the same offer I gave willys years ago, if ya get any high dollar farkles and don't want to pay the import, gst,pst or other pms tax, let me know, you can have it shipped to me and I can meet you at my friends in Buffalo and do an install and you ride back across the border. Might save you some cash. Ask willy's about it.

The $$$$ comemt was regarding the wealth of info I got from KLRCary and the Patman at that time which resulted in me dumping thousands into my motor to build one of the strongest motors north of the border. Well worth the $$$$.

And Yes Gunny was very kind and helped me out back in the day.....I spent some time at his house and wrenched on my new parts and rode home across the border free of all harrassment.....thanks again Gunny.
