Welcome 9am53!  I'm not sure how often Willy's stops in here.  Ya might be better off sending him a PM which will give him an email about your message.

Hey I'm here as well....unless I get the boot ....lol
Keep watching and I will have a few tech days this year at my place. Probably once the weather is warm enough to work outside comfortably as the garage only holds so many. More than likely in April or May. Welcome on topic...lol

Hello there willys and silvio,
I am in Vaughan and have no friends with bike so I would be very glad to know you guys so at least we can go off road riding some nices mountains here in this cold place! ja,ja,ja Willy please let me know when you are doing all this serive maintenance to her, I would like to do mine at the same time since i never work on bike before if you don't mind, grab some nice cold beers and some nice steak! please let me know if you would like to do it.
Thanks,
BM

No got no pics of her resting comfortably in her heated garage!!! YET!!!
She's just waiting patiently for me to do some open heart surgery on her. I have to do the Doo, valve check, oil screen, syn. oil and filter, fork brace, set my sag with some front fork adjustments(it's out by 1.2" as per Patman's suggestions)needs to go down in the front, hopefully build up some racks for side boxes and front protection, stronger front head light, add LEDs to the rear light, cruise control. Plus anything else I can dream up during the winter.

Hope to hear from other riders in my area ...

Hey Guys. I'm in Barrie, Ontario and just picked up a blue '99 with 20000kms. I've been riding it for 3 days and completely in love with it. I don't know if there could be a more perfect bike for me.  I'm cruizin' It's my daily commute (all 10 minutes of it) and I'm always riding on my days off (Mondays and Tuesdays.) I haven't been on any decent offroad rides yet, but I found a gnarly looking trail up to swift rapids and I'm thinking about giving it a go. If anyone's interested or has done it before and have some pointers, let me know!  Ride on!

I've been on that road a few times.  It's a great KLR road - not too technical but rocky enough to make it interesting.
It's only drawback is that it is too short.
Just make sure you don't venture on to the ATV trails if you are by yourself - you'll need a buddy to help pick up the bike...over and over.

Another similar type road worth exploring is Black River Road in Coopers Falls.

PM me if you want some company.  I'll be away on the Gunter ride/camp this weekend but I might be able to make it out for this ride in June.
