Anyone ever put these on?  Is it easy?  I am not too mechanically inclined but not a dolt either.  Also, how do you set the pre load? My 2009 klx 250 seems a little mushy.

Might be a good idea to set your preload before diagnosing whether you'll need/want raising links...unless you're wanting the raising links for some other reason than addressing the mushiness you're describing.  It's also possible that your rear spring rate doesn't suit you or your riding style.
