Thats a very nice, clean paint scheme. Can we get some other shots....side, rear , etc.?

Thats sharp.... My neighbor lives half his time in Mexico and he has a light mounted on his Yamaha down low like that. Can we see some mounting and the wire route........there has been some discussion on alterate lighting and to be honest, I don't think I have seen anything on this site about mounting low and to the side.

I dont have shots of the wiring..simple relay and switch, wire looms along side the forks, zip ties,etc....the lights are from princess auto here in the Peg,mounted where the reflectors sit. The only prob is bulbs popping from vibration(2 so far). Great for the trails at night! Im not sure of the brand of paint...had it done by Sids Autobody on Fife st. in the Peg($450 for 6 pieces, stripped, primed, painted, clear(after application of custom decals($120 for the decals) The paint job was done by late fall and these shots were taken in Ontario shortly after.(awesome ride)I think Kawi needs to take some cues from us customizers for their future styles. Thanks for the comments.....glad to have found a place for more KLR krazyness!!!

That looks beautiful!
I have a question about your lights. What wattage are the bulbs? Those are generally 55w bulbs. Do you have any problems with the charging system keeping up when they are on?
Thanks!
Benny

Hey bbuice the lights are 55w...gotta keep the revs up or theyll suck the battery dry in rush hour idling(dont use em for city cruisin) but on the highway, gravel or trails @ night , no problem......and hey dirtbag the lights rock in the brush ....no probs seeing in the dense trails Ive ridin(great light distribution down low)..and @ $20/set ill smash em and laugh!!
