Correct,  Three cans of white from Menards...on sale for $2/can.  I bought four but left one out of my kit the day I went to paint the plastics...i.e. I would have liked to make it a $8 paint job.  I'm planning on a better skin next year.

Not bad from this POV.  thumb For a bike that may see some road rash it's smart to be frugal.  Now listen up...

Nice bikes!  Were your photos taken at RA?  I used to live in Wisconsin and spent many a weekend at RA or Blackhawk Farms watching. I really want to make it back up that way to ride at RA. Nice photos!

No, both of those photos of the smurfmobile were taken at Blackhawk Farms.  The second one was taken by Spoot, (that has registered here).  I do have photos for R.A....it is an awesome speed track.  At R.A., the only limits of your staight line speed are the capabilities of your bike... lap times...you still need to be a good rider and have superior suspension and tires.

Nothing too wild.  In early spring a couple years ago, I spent a week at the GAP with a bunch of sportbikers.  The former owner of this bike, chose to wear a bright blue insulated jumpsuit over his leathers.  He was quickly dubbed "Papa Smurf"...so naturally the bike became the smurfmobile.

I guess I should have posted pics.   thinking...

Here is Papa Smurf on the left.

and here is the smurfmobile (front right) in street dress with the former owner in the background,

And, I didn't take the 10R to the gap.  I took the KLR so my wife could ride along.  I now own the 1st and third bikes in this pic.

GSXR in new clothes...courtesy of the neighbor kids.  Working on selling the 10R and replacing with a more "old guy" friendly bike.  Will update soon...I hope.
