I bought a 2009 BMW K1300GT in Los Angeles 5 days ago and rode it home to Denver via northern California, Nevada, Idaho and Wyoming-about 2,000 miles.

Just north of Jackson, Wyoming yesterday- the Tetons-

I pulled the bikes out today and gave them a wash-

Quite a stable you have built Hondo. The BMW looks like it would be a smooooth ride!

The K1300Gt has an unbelievable 160 HP.

It is very comfortable while effortlessly cruising at 90 mph.

Hondo...I'm suprised you let go of the KLR. I didn't expect to see it in your "past lineup" of bikes!

I replaced the KLR with the KLX- easier for me to manage in the off road riding that I do.

Great line-up! One for each occasion  :rayof:  ... If only I had the garage space, I'd be right there!

No doubt about that. Ivebgot a neighbor who bought a KLX 300 and put a conversion kit on it, and it is street legal. He takes that thing over any kind of terrain...and he said it weighs under 300lbs. I'm jealous.

So what's the status of the CB900? I always liked the looks of that model.

SWEET!  :thumb:

I like the color. Now I just need to find the time to get up there and ride with you again.
