Half day ride Cherokee Game Reserve Oklahoma
« on: November 14, 2015, 12:22:55 PM »
Cool morning start to about 10 miles east of home. Took the old 62 between Muskogee and Tahlequah to the Nation's reserve.

Always neat sights....
Once on the reserve all the main roads are well maintained until you turn off onto anything else. Then, with the 705's, it get's pretty sketchy! But fun!!

Then I got here...half a wheel deep and very mossy. I know ...get the tissue out but I was alone and 20 miles from any know help. Waaaa....

Good ride....good smells...Army was out playing next door at Camp Gruber, helicopters and drones overhead. Some large artillery in the distance.

Great you could get out and enjoy SPANKY. Fall is one of my favorite times of year to do some exploring. As you mention...lots of neat sights.

Looks like a nice, peaceful place to ride and you still have a bit of color.

I love the pond picture, great place for a picnic and to swat skeeters.

It is a lot of fun going out with no particular destination...or maybe just a vague direction. I am barely scratching the surface in this area. I had a good idea where I wanted to go but when I got there I saw many more options that are not on maps. Come on...!
