Forum member NC Rick is the owner of Cogent Dynamics and your main contact concerning The Moab Shock and Springs.

I'd be happy to answer questions about the review or the shock/springs.

Mine's already ordered and now I am REALLY anxious to get that stuff installed!

Then a fork brace, and some pegs, and then some bars and then bark busters and new tires!

And you, sir, have to pull those forks and install RaceTech Gold Valve cartridge emulators.  They make the front end feel as good as the rear.

Rick & I have been PMing... but I had to go out of town so had the guy at the MX shop give Rick a call at my advice to check out the shock... the MX suspension guy said the shock sounded good... guess it just reinforces your review if 2 suspension shops can agree that it is probably the right shock for the KLR.

Excellent write up. Looking forward, very much, to seeing the details of the cartridge emulator install.

I'm definitely going to be doing the complete fork upgrades (Moab springs and cartridge emulators) very soon, followed by the rear shock towards the end of this year.

Welpers , I am a bit behind the game on this thread . BUT..... I thought I'd say that I talked to NC_Rick on the phone about 20 minutes ago and got my Cogent Moab shock on the list . Gonna have to wait a little bit but thats just fine by me .
Rick says he has lots of folks ahead of me wanting one so I told him I was accustomed to being in the back of the pack anyway . I am still gonna get that puppy allot faster than I thought . The good news is that , Rick and his Cogent operation is just down the road from me so shipping is gonna be so easy that I am gonna ride to Cogent on my stocker , and ride back home on the Cogent . Hec , you just can't beat that huh ?
I probably could live a long time without one , but I simply  WANT ONE . lol/lol Besides , a PO-SLPOKE rookie rider like me needs all the help I can get on the off road you know .
If the thing is half as good as Hondo , Patman and the others say it is , it seems to sure be worth the investment to not be busting my butt all the time . After riding that stocker seat till my custom seat got installed , I really don't have much left of a busting spot on my big butt . Even as big as my butt is . LOL

I ordered a shock and spring kit from C.D. last month. It should be shipped soon. Rick had a package deal going when I placed my order; Moab Shock, Fork Springs and Emulators for $___. Wicked good deal if the goods are as good as anticipated.

Thanks Rick!!
