Enclosed is a review of my warm-n-safe heat troller install on a KLR650. The troller will be used to heat both my liner and gloves independently. The troller works by full power alternating on/off on cycles. So at ½ knob position, the power goes on full for 1 sec and entirely off for the next sec. The troller is the seen here:

rats nest of wires that don’t suit the KLR layout well. There are 4x items to mount/attach wire. First mount that box in the middle of the view, about the size of an Altoid container.

attach with heavy duty velcro

peel and stick to box

attach box under dash

open up the area for wire attach

get out wire kit

Item 2- power from battery to relay, activate with city light leads, connect troller power to relay. Wires were long enough to reach the horn area, not the battery. Details have been shown in the Stebel horn “how to”

Like so, #2 done

mount these little knobs on the dash

instructions came with template, wires were real long, need to zip tie out of way

mark location

remove dash

attach knob

extra wires to zip tie under dash

knobs installed on dash

the coaxial plug for was not long enough to reach the base of tank, so I spliced in a 18 gage line

soldered this one

reaches tank area, zip tie along bike spine

exposed connectors. One for gloves, other for liner. However, both connect to liner

Review:
1. If I used a tank bag, I would run leads there.
2. I never remember to unplug prior to dismount, however this is not an issue, they just unplug without damaging the socket.
3 DON’T get the low power (65 watt) Calentito liner. I barely puts out the heat. Get the full up liner
4. Need the 300watt or 400 watt stator for the KLR to run these products.
5. Love their “ultimate” gloves, works well with liner.
6. Feels like a electric blanket is wrapped around you. Nice
7. When ordering put in ADVrider to get a discount
