Two Up riding on the V?

I'm picking up my new V on Tuesday, selling my Honda ST and keeping my KLR!
I am about 180lbs and my lovely wife about 120lbs-any of you V types had experince with two up riding and how the machine performed?
My KLR does just fine, very buzzy, but it has the power to go well with two up. I'm assuming the V will be vastly superior, only done a 2 mile test ride in traffic, but seemed even keeping it under 4grand it plenty of go.

I've ridden them both, and the V will have no problems 2-up.

I've got you by 60 pounds, and the wife is a "bit" more than yours. The Vs is happy as can be, and so is she. There isn't much "touring" room, or a back rest (yet), so long rides might not be so great, but 100 to 250 miles should be okay.

Our weights are about the same, SO liked the ride, but she had trouble getting up and down. Hit her leg on the peg when getting off once and made a bruise. The front is pretty light with 2 up also. SO loves the 07 K1200GT so it will be hard to convince her to ride the Versys, ha.

I am 205 and the little lady is about 140. We have no problems on the V. Wife actually likes it back there. I was nervous she would not like it since this is our first attempt at two up in it. The V has plenty of power and I just give the rear shock an extra click when she is on.
