Whew! Thought I'd need a new rear brake lever!

Finding a grassy snow covered slope a bit too much for the stock OEM tires with 3500 on them, the Vs spun out and lowsided at all of 3-4 mph. Only damage was to the back brake lever. Not even mud anywhere else.

The first two pics are modifications by Krazo. The last one shows brake lever after coming out the BodyWork by Vise Grip, Inc. shop. That sure is one maleable lever. I thought sure as sunrise I'd snap it!

  thanks for that great info, I fell 3 days ago and bent mine down, but didn't try any fix yet. Still Limping around on my sore right foot. Will send it to Bodywork also for the fix. Hope mine is as flexable as Yours!

After seeing the "Before" and "After" shots of your brake pedal I will say that if you have a Lotto in your state you might just want to play it!  You are one lucky being!  I've never seen a piece of cast metal take any sort of bending like that and still remain in a single piece!


I have the same footpegs on my Versys and they afford excellent traction for your feet.  Much better than a set of stock footpegs do when your feet are wet.  Highly recommended.
