Saltspring Island...

Hello. My wife and I are planning to visit Saltspring Island for a week (next week!!), and I'm curious to know if there are any locals on the forum here, or if anyone that's been there could help with suggestions of things to do or see. We've got a 16 month old daughter tagging along, so we'd be down for hikes, restaurants, pubs, your favourite places, etc.

We'd be interested to meet for some libations too...

Hi Willius Check out Dualsportbc.com There is someone from Saltspring on there. I think he has a floor covering store on the island . I'm from Gabriola 2-3 islands north.

Thanks for the tip. We spent our holiday on Saltspring this past September (2009) and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ate local produce, fish, cheese, drank the wine. You know, played tourists, We left the bike at home, though, and took four wheels instead. Your Gulf Islands are a treasure!!
