Its about like seattle - gray wet cold. Not as cold as NY for sure. Legal off road is slim to none but road riding is awesome and theres a small enduro spot near my house thats good for a workout. Are you going to be in Kaiserslautern or Weisbaden?

HI trail

A couple years back i was to Eindhoven Netherlands for a course and noticed on route by train there was some type of biking path beside the train tracks in many places with smaller motor bikes driving/sharing with bicycles....  in the EU  how does that work  Hmmmmm... is there a engine cc limitation on who can use these trails?

Usually bikes and scooters, teenagers ride 125's and can get away with it. All the smaller towns are connected with tractor roads which are usually semi paved. You can ride those on a motorcycle or quad without a problem. Theres pretty much no legal off road/dual sport trails though, not legal anyway hehe. Forest roads all over the place and I ride em without too many problems. Odd because they sell plated 2 stroke dirt bikes and WR450's off the dealer floor.  puzzled They german guys will travel long distances to find their riding spots and are serious about their motorrads  Ride on!

Actually, wouldn't be hard to mount pontoons, add a sand paddle tire to the rear An bobs your uncle.
