GrEAAT shots Chris! Love the fall colors. I just got be out in those fall smells last weekend. Nice scoot! What part of the country are you in anyway? (you can add your general area to your signature if you want others to know there's a rider nearby) thumb

Welcome Chris.  Hope you can make it to our little get together Saturday.  Nice looking bike.  Did you happen to buy it from a guy named Jeff W.

I'm in Taylorville, IL, close to Springfield.  The bike has 14500 miles on it and still going strong.  I can't remember the name of the guy i bought it from, I'll have to find the title :p .  He had recently moved from marion to springfield and said he made the 3 1/2 hour commute on the klr most of the time.  He owned this bike 2 times and said if I get tired of it let him know and he'll probably buy it back.  But I don't see that happening.

Chris,

That's a very nice bike.

I kind of like the license plate too.  However, if you leave it low like that, so will the rear tire!

Most folks that take their KLR650 off road, will find out the rear tire likes to eat low hanging license plates!

Just thought you would like to know.

Thanks for the tip.  I hadn't even thought about that. The real plate came in the mail yesterday so I'll mount it higher.
