My Blk/Silver '07.  Only 400 miles on it so far but to Kawasaki's credit the fit, finish and performance are excellent.
The only problem I have noticed is a missing throttle cable tie on the right side of the frame in front of the gas tank.  Ken

I take it that you have inspected the speedometer cable for proper installation, greased all suspension parts and pieces and made sure the fairing is on straight!

Did the dealer try and deliver the bike with the forks in the "shipping position"?  I would have LOVED to have been there if he had!

So, you have "The Farm Bike", "The Old Trusty Bike" and now "The Black Bike".

I mean I'm into multiple bike ownership, but not even I have had multiple KLR650s!

You must really like the bike!

Marty they haven't made a bike yet that fits me as well as the KLR.  The others are running well.  The "farm bike" A-13 turned over 24K and the old reliable A-16 has almost 29K on it.  They will continue to get the majority of the miles.  I hope to have this one ready for TdTII   thumb

I ride a lot.  My goal at the start of the year was 20K KLR miles this year and no trailering.  I have put 12K on the '02 so it looks like I will be right on target.  Add in the XR and the Wing, well you get the picture.  I could ride all the time except for this job thing getting in the way.  Retirement ain't comin fast enough HMMMMM.....  I love these smilies.  Thanks for the warm welcome Camas.  Ken

Hooray!  I made it to 500 miles today and it got the oil and filter changed and a low profile magnetic drain plug installed.  Nothing wierd in the oil or filter but they must have had a 500 lb. gorilla tighten down the bolt for adjusting the doohickey.  Whenever we get a nasty weather weekend I have a whole bunch of goodies to install including a new doo.  5,000 RPM next time I get to ride it  Way to go!  Ken
