hi guys, new to this forum.
I am a huge klr enthusiast from up north. I just got my klr back in july, and got to ride it all around the yukon up untill about 2 weeks ago when it got bitterly cold here.
here is a nice pic overlooking the yukon river of my beautiful red 06 KLR650!!!

I ride alot of tight single track and go as fast I can go, so far I've crashed about 3 or 4 times badly. this bone stock klr has held up nicely though, in 3 months of riding, almost 5,000 kms on the odo I've managed to ... bend handlebars to trash, break off both radiator shrouds, break off the rear right turn signal, dent the gas tank, rip both the footpegs out, bent the front fairing badly, broke the shift lever, clutch lever, brake lever completely off, busted the plastic startbutton/mirror holder in half, shattered the right mirror, and a bunch of huge cuts/gashes on the front fender, the skid plate looks like I took a sledge hammer to a piece of fiberglass!
I just love how I can ride my bike like I stole it, if something breaks it just gives it more character or an excuse to upgrade something to a better aftermarket version!
hooray for the KLR!!! greatest motorcycle EVER
