I was not sure if that was an acceptable replacement for the factory steel . I just installed a pair and was worried about the difference in material . Next question is what does the torque on the 2 bolts need to be ?

 Welcome brioche!
72 ftlbs is correct.
Rummy, EM has been making those links for many years and he knows his stuff when it comes to metalurgy and machine work.

I like the new stance of the bike after installing the links but I did notice on the highway at 60 and up mph it is very twitchy . I am going to try droping my spring rate to next lower notch and if that doesn't work i will try some progressive springs in the front to help balance out the wieght distribution .

Could it be your tires? Or the air pressure in them? I did install these links about a month ago and didn't experience the symptom you are describing. I like the new height and less sagging.

I will double chrck them because its always possible the steelership didn't go over bike as well as they should have  . But I had no problems before I installed them . I just figured that due to lifting the rear of the bike the rake is decreased plus my 250 pound self is putting more wieght on front also causing a little loss of stabability .

It might be a good idea to get the suspension sag set properly for both front and rear.
