Bought it today. Is it spring yet? The cold weather is killer. Heated handgrips are now on my to do list.

Put on some nice tidy little turn signals. They tuck in nicely and fit the lines of the bike really well I think. Also they are not LED's so I don't have to mess with the flashers.

I just rode part of a leg of the East Texas 450 today( 16th actually) cause I'm on vacation and was bored sitting at the house alone. The wife suggested I do laundry to combat the boredom
Anyway I started in Apple Springs since that's pretty much where I hang my hat and rode through to 287 then back home.
Forest road 509 wasn't to bad
Coming off of FM 2262 on to the Carlton Loop... Just a little slick!!
FM 2262 and Sailor Rd (location of Bearing Fire). Looks totally different now.
Road is slick, sloppy, slushy and rutted. Broke a dang sweat keeping it on two wheels!! This is a pic of the easy to me part!! Gets worse.
After turning off Sailor Rd onto Hamilton Rd. More fun!!! After the crossing it gets super slick!! Of course it didn't help that 4 wheelers had it rutted too!
Long bridge on VB Woods Rd. Lots of water!!
Do the little left and right turns off the long bridge and BAM!! Where did the road go???
It got pretty dang deep after the little island in the pic. I kept waiting for the bike to fall out from under me in a big washout.
I rate this ride better than laundry any day of the week!!!!

Added a little tool tube thingy I got from an inmate...some type of operating manual holder. Cut a length of checker plate I had laying around and mounted it on the back rack. I'll be making a tool roll soon that will fit nicely.

Raised the license plate up to the fender, and eliminated the subfender. Also put lighted plate bolts and wired up a power source for GPS and other gizmos.

I installed a New set of Chain and Sprockets from Rocky Mountain ATV. 15t Front, 43t rear, and O-ring Chain for $72.99
I thought "Why not"? I'll give it a try and see how well they do. The chain came already cut to length, so all I had to do was just install it. OEM Chain lasted 26K miles, the last one was a Bike Master and it lasted 23K miles, so hopefully I'll get 23K out of this set.

Believe it or not, I'm using Champion Chain Lube that I buy at Walmart for $5 a can. I run my chains a little toward the loose end. I usually lube it down as soon as I pull into the garage, so the chain is still warm and soaks in. Not sure if that helps, but I am getting good chain life. I will say that the last chain probably should have been changed out sooner. I started noticing a surging(which I thought was the engine) then I realized that the chain had a tight section in it and was making the bike feel like it was surging.

Watched the big brown truck pull up today. Delivered a new shinko 244, which is going on tomorrow.
UPDATE
Got bored, put it on tonight. Made a mental note to get myself something to break the bead before I have to change it again.
