Hi guys, I'm new to the site. Let me just say I'm already sold on the KLR and currently shopping for one. I want the new body style, so 2008+. What are your thoughts on what year is best for little problems and more then that what should I be asking about the bike. I've got the recalls, Doohicky and Subframe bolt on my list. Anything I've missed?

I'm partial to the Blue, but I'm not buying brand new so it will be best deal before color...

I've got the blue 09 like your avatar shows, and I love it. But man, those 2012's are beautiful. I'd like to trade in for one. But I don't think I should do that to my baby just yet.

 Welcome to the site...I have an '08 blue and I am loving it....Just look for one with engine chain balancer/torsion spring (doo hickey) upgraded, plus any extra farkles to save you something later because once you get it the farkle wish list begins to grow....
