Took a little trip up Bald Mountain today, all the reports stated a little rocky but no big obstacles.  They were right, it just didn't state that the rocky part was uphill for 2.5miles.  This was quite a challenge for my skill level and a 500lb bike, there were times I was thinking of turning back but after I saw what I had just went through I figure the only way was up.  I topped out at 10,779ft., the west side going down was a piece of cake, I will know next time.  Here are some pics, though they don't do it justice.

Up in the Red Feather area, northwest of Fort Collins. There are a lot of trails, this one seemed the most difficult so far.

Holy Moly! That is one heck of a rocky trail! Props to you for doing it on what appears to be stock tires...I wouldn't even attempt it without a full on knobby!
