Setting your Monitor's Resolution in Windows
I have found that some KLRWorld.com visitors are viewing the website with the resolution of their monitor set at 800 X 600 pixels, well below the recommended setting of 1280 X 1024 for a 17 inch monitor. This effects readability of a web page as well as the overall viewing experience.
So I have written a short tutorial on how to change your monitor's resolution so that this and other websites may be viewed correctly.
If your monitor has a maximum of only 1024 X 768 pixels, hold the Ctrl key down and scroll the mouse wheel to zoom out, or set the zoom out in you browser menu.
This is based on using a 17 inch monitor using Windows 98, 2000 or XP. I recommend that the monitor's User Manual be used as reference and the monitor be set to it's maximum resolution.
If you have a 19' or larger monitor, follow these instructions but set the monitor to it's recommended maximum.
Right click anywhere on your desktop, and select "Properties" from the pop-out menu-

Select the boxed "Settings" tab-

Adjust your screen size to 1280 X 1024 by moving the slider. This should work for all 17 inch monitors.

Click "Apply", then "OK".
You should now have a much better view.
