Welcome to KLRWorld.com and my review of the 2008 Kawasaki KLR650!
My intention today is to provide you with the best review that I as an independent KLR650 enthusiast can do. Please note that this review is completely independent of Kawasaki Motors sponsorship, and was done without any funding.
I dedicate this review to the 10,000+ members of The KLRWorld.com Forums and to the entire KLR650 community. I hope you enjoy it!
First a little background information. In early February 2007, I walked into my local Kawasaki dealer , G-Force Powersports located in Lakewood, Colorado, hoping that I could talk them into allowing me to use a new 2008 KLR650 for my review.
I met with the Sales Manager, Mr. Jay Lay, and he was all for the idea. Here's Jay with a 2008 & 2007 KLR650-
So Jay passed my proposal by the owners of G-Force Powersports, and I was given the go ahead for the review. To say the least, I was pretty jazzed.
